Founded by Emmie Crompton, Hummingbird Naturopath has evolved, beginning with nutritional healing and following a profound understanding that there is more to health than the physical body, and is now proud to incorporate the amazing modalities of Belief Coding and Theta healing.
Emmie’s fascination with health began with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Psychology. After a successful career in the fashion industry and a position managing an organic farm and vineyard amongst other things, there was an irresistible pull to help other women heal themselves.
Emmie was diagnosed with MS at the age of 25. Her condition was aggressively treated with intravenous steroids and chemotherapy and she lost the ability to walk; becoming reliant on family to take care of her.
Two years into her treatment Emmie decided enough was enough, and told her neurologist that she wanted to pursue a holistic approach. Off the record he said “I don’t blame you”.
After applying many of the same principles which she now applies with clients, Emmie has been in “remission” for 20 plus years and lives a symptom free life. An illness without symptoms is no longer an illness!
